Specialist, Support (Office) - Information Systems (IT)

The candidate provides support for laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals, including but not limited to troubleshooting of defective or inoperable components, diagnosis and eventual replacement of defective components and assistance of end-users in the proper use of hardware and software. Responsible for the assembly, optimization and placement of laptops, desktops, printers and other computer-related equipment. The Support (Office) Specialist is responsible for the entry and maintenance of records in the appropriate Firm IT system(s) used to track technology assets. Bachelor’s level degree preferred. Should have 2 years of experience in a computer-related field. Experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred. A highly developed and practical knowledge of personal computer hardware architecture and applications, including operating systems, application software, printers and other peripherals. Knowledge of major personal computer applications, including personal computer operating systems, word processing editors, graphics software, spreadsheet programs and telecommunications software. Add, delete and modify voice over IP (VoIP).
