Duties:

• Manage and handle complex first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation cases.

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other essential legal documents.

• Take and defend depositions, provide counsel during court appearances, and engage in trial preparation and support.

• Represent clients in both state and federal courts, demonstrating strong case management skills.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of legal developments related to first-party coverage matters.

• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and client relationships.

Requirements:

• Active Bar admission in Illinois is required.

• Proven experience in first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation.

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation cases and effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Practical experience in case management and courtroom procedures.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Illinois (additional states a plus).

Skills:

• Expertise in insurance coverage litigation.

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.

• Proficiency in drafting complex legal documents.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
