The candidate will draft transactional documents, including but not limited to purchase and sale documents, franchise disclosure documents, franchise regulatory filings, commercial real estate and lending documents, leases, and other transactional agreements. Gain sophisticated hands-on experience in a thriving franchising, business, real estate, and finance practice with significant client contact and potential for career advancement. Academically distinguished applicants with excellent writing and analytical skills are sought to assume responsibility in this active and diverse business transactional practice. Identify issues and provides suggestions to day-to-day problems; prioritizes and effectively completes daily tasks. Communicate in a clear, concise, and organized manner and prevent miscommunication by clarifying difficult concepts and ensuring understanding by others; know the appropriate amount of information to share with various parties; ensure regular and consistent information is shared; understand the appropriate level of confidentiality. Give positive and constructive feedback to peers; train new employees; find solutions to a problem; work autonomously; is motivated to anticipate future business needs. Identify training needs and opportunities for self, team, and firm. Promote changes and act as a change agent. Actively participate in the team and can provide feedback and solutions; listen and respond constructively to others' concerns. Must have 4+ years of commercial transactions, real estate, and franchise experience.
