Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Securitization Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice in the New York office. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex financing transactions, including securitizations, asset-based finance, and other structured finance products. This is a dynamic opportunity for attorneys who thrive on innovation and collaboration in highly bespoke financial transactions.

Location:

• New York City, NY

Duties:

• Advise clients on complex securitizations and structured finance transactions

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents for asset-based and structured finance deals

• Work with investment banks, issuers, and investors to structure tailored financial products

• Handle esoteric asset classes and help expand new financing structures

• Conduct legal due diligence and oversee deal execution

• Collaborate closely with a team of experienced attorneys and clients on strategic structuring

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of structured finance, securitization, or asset-based lending experience in a law firm setting

• Admitted to the New York State Bar (required)

• Strong transactional drafting and deal management experience

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of structured finance and capital markets law

• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships

• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Innovative mindset with comfort handling novel or esoteric assets
