Duties

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side litigation matters, including mesothelioma and injury cases

• Conduct client intake, legal counseling, and maintain ongoing client communication

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and negotiations

• Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients

• Guide clients through all stages of litigation, keeping them informed and empowered

• Collaborate with legal team members on complex and high-stakes cases

Requirements

• Demonstrated passion for representing plaintiffs and advocating for victims of corporate wrongdoing

• Ability to manage cases independently from intake through trial or settlement

• Strong client relationship management skills

• Commitment to social justice and achieving meaningful client outcomes

• Willingness to take on challenging, high-stakes litigation matters

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in-good-standing license to practice law in the state of California
