Senior Engineer, Collaboration Solutions - Information Technology (IT)
Duties: Provides technical leadership for strategy, architecture, design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing operation of internal Firm and client collaboration and document sharing platforms. Works as a member of an information management team within the IT department, providing technical expertise and hands on experience with on premises and hosted solutions. Leads others in the technology department and collaborates with lawyers and staff across the Firm to select, implement, efficiently operate, and optimize productivity software and document-sharing solutions based on regional, law practice, security/privacy, and client requirements. Leads cross team efforts to diagnose and resolve software issues and drive vendor resolution. Coordinates efforts to integrate and configure MS Office and other user productivity applications including document management, records management, workflow, and hosted and on premise legal collaboration platforms (e.g. iManage, Citrix ShareFile, SharePoint, Box Enterprise, Google G Suite). Maintains knowledge of vendor product roadmaps and developing technologies. Contributes to formulation of IT vision and development strategies pertaining to the Firm’s information management program.
