Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have over two years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for those experienced in General Liability and Auto/Trucking cases. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team across multiple states, focusing on developing case strategies and leading trials.

Duties

• Direct and lead case files.
• Provide initial case analysis.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies.
• Conduct discovery and take depositions.
• Draft motions and attend hearings.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Assist with and lead trials.

Requirements

• Current member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in General Liability and/or Auto/Trucking preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
