The candidate will be drafting and reviewing contracts and providing guidance on contract standards. Will be identifying, analyzing, researching, and resolving complex legal and business process issues and making appropriate recommendations to business and supervising attorneys. Identifying risk, understanding the level of risk and escalating appropriately for business proposals and legal agreements. Developing an excellent rapport with the business teams. Negotiating contracts directly with contract counterparty. Coordinating contract approval and execution, including enforcement of delegations of authority as needed. Monitoring compliance with internal McKesson business and legal processes and policies. The following stated contracting policies, procedures and processes. Demonstrating comprehensive understanding of McKesson business units (BUs), products, strategy, and operational model. Working under the supervision of supervising attorneys and exercising independent judgment in escalating issues within broadly defined practices and policies.
