Duties

• Handle personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Evaluate case value and develop legal strategies tailored to each client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Supervise support staff, including case managers and paralegals.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for client interests.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Michigan.
• 3+ years of experience litigating personal injury cases (plaintiff side preferred).
• Proven success in negotiations, mediations, and trials.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
