Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 1-3 years of experience to join the Insurance Practice Group in our Chicago office. Qualified candidates should have basic corporate transactional, insurance regulatory, and insurance transaction-specific skills, and ideally have experience representing insurers, reinsurers, and other insurance-related entities in transactions, restructurings, reinsurance transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and counseling clients on a broad range of regulatory matters. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated drafting skills and the ability to assist with transactions and complex projects. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, team-oriented, and highly motivated associate who is willing to work hard and support the strategic goals of our Business Law Department and Insurance Practice Group. Top academics and very strong writing, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member Bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Illinois Bar will be a condition of employment. Interested applicants should submit resume and law school transcript.
