Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney in Gaffney, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about representing clients during challenging times and will work within the Family Law Practice Area Group serving Cherokee County and the Upstate of South Carolina.

Duties

• Conduct new client consultations
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions
• Research and prepare cases for court
• Participate in case reviews and team trainings
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing
• Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish

Requirements

• Licensed member of the South Carolina Bar, in good standing
• Comfortable handling a high volume of cases
• Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• South Carolina Bar membership
