This role requires a proactive approach to complex estate disputes, ensuring client satisfaction and case progression.

Duties

• Lead contested probate and trust litigation cases from start to finish.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Advise executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and families during transitions.
• Develop litigation strategies to advance cases effectively.
• Collaborate with a supportive legal team.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 3-7+ years of probate and/or trust litigation experience.
• Experience with uncontested probate.
• Strong courtroom presence and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in Wealthcounsel software; preference for Lawmatics users.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
