Mid-Level General Liability Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with demonstrated experience in general liability defense. This role offers the opportunity to independently manage a caseload encompassing a diverse range of liability matters across both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring courtroom proficiency, strategic insight, and a command of legal drafting and advocacy.

Duties:

• Handle a broad array of general liability cases from initiation through resolution

• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and legal briefs

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Manage discovery, including written interrogatories and document requests

• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings

• Deliver well-reasoned legal analysis and case strategy

• Maintain effective communication with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders

• Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a litigation team

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant litigation experience

• Background in defending liability claims, particularly in the areas of premises, auto, and general negligence

• Familiarity with local court rules and litigation procedures in PA and NJ

• Proven track record of oral advocacy and courtroom presence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and good standing with the Bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

• Exceptional writing and drafting proficiency

• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
