Duties

• Represent lending institutions in commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Advise clients on affordable housing and community development matters.
• Collaborate with legal and business teams to navigate housing policy challenges.
• Engage in agency financing transactions involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of commercial real estate finance experience in a sophisticated law firm setting.
• Experience with large firm commercial real estate transactions preferred.
• Familiarity with affordable housing matters is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse teams.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• NC Bar membership required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the North Carolina Bar.
