Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Antitrust and Competition Associate to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of transactional antitrust experience, including HSR, deal counseling, and merger investigations before the FTC, DOJ, and other enforcement agencies.

Duties

• Conduct transactional antitrust work, including HSR filings and merger investigations.
• Provide deal counseling and client advisory services.
• Engage in antitrust investigations and complex federal litigations.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.

Requirements

• Three to six years of relevant antitrust experience.
• Experience with FTC, DOJ, and other enforcement agencies.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
• Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Proficiency in handling antitrust matters in technology, pharmaceuticals, health care, and retail sectors is desirable.
• Strong multitasking and team collaboration abilities.
