Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury and Employment Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Fort Lee, NJ. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment, managing a full caseload while delivering justice for clients.

Duties

• Manage cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Draft complaints, motions, responsive pleadings, and settlement documents.
• Handle depositions and appear at court proceedings independently.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, counsel, medical providers, and experts.
• Prepare discovery, arbitration, mediation, and trial packages.
• Maintain detailed ledgers of PIP, EOBs, Medicare/Medicaid, and health insurance.
• File PIP arbitrations/lawsuits as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in NJ personal injury and/or employment law.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
• Experience with Needles/Neos legal case management software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
