The ideal candidate will have experience with U.S. trade-regulating agencies, particularly the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Experience in U.S. customs law is advantageous.

Duties

• Advise clients on international trade regulations and compliance.

• Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in international trade law.
• Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar or eligible to waive in.
• Exceptional academic achievement.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
