Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its Structured Finance and Securitization team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience representing financial institutions in asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions. Candidates with general capital markets, private credit, or leveraged finance experience and an interest in securitization are also encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Represent financial institutions as issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers.
• Engage in a variety of asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.
• Focus on repo finance, digital infrastructure, trade receivable finance, warehouse lending, and structured private credit facilities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Previous large law firm experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
