Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research on tax issues and providing well-informed advice to clients.
• Assisting clients in understanding complex tax regulations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Drafting legal documents, including memoranda, opinions, and correspondence related to tax matters.
• Representing clients in tax disputes and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals within the firm on interdisciplinary matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax law, with a preference for experience in a large law firm.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Preferred: Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Preferred: Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in MA.
