Job Title: External Attorney - Remote Role

Job Overview:
A Philadelphia-based law firm is actively seeking a dedicated and bilingual attorney to support its nationwide immigration practice. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a client-centered environment and is passionate about providing support to individuals navigating humanitarian immigration pathways. This is a fully remote role, with flexible engagement designed to support a growing team on an external counsel basis.

Duties:

• Represent individuals in immigration matters, primarily focused on VAWA and T visa cases

• Provide legal advice and develop case strategies aligned with humanitarian immigration relief

• Collaborate with internal staff to ensure case progress and client communication

• Draft legal documents, affidavits, and filings in compliance with applicable immigration laws

• Maintain accurate documentation and case records through digital case management systems

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, often in Spanish

• Stay informed of evolving immigration laws, policies, and procedures

• Participate in regular case reviews and process improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling immigration cases, specifically VAWA and T visa matters

• Active authorization to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Fluent or native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to client-centered service

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload

• Flexible problem-solving approach and ability to prioritize under deadlines

• Enthusiastic mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement

• Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in high-stakes, emotionally charged scenarios

• Membership in the New Jersey Bar is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Admission to at least one U.S. State Bar

Certifications:

• Active bar license in good standing

• Eligibility to work in the United States

Skills:

• Immigration legal research and writing

• Client advocacy and case strategy
