A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate for its Austin, Texas office. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group.

Duties

• Handle complex commercial and business litigation matters, including antitrust, construction, and product liability.
• Manage real estate, financial services, and energy-related cases.
• Take depositions and brief and argue dispositive and discovery motions.
• Interface with clients and opposing counsel.
• Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trials.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local rules.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Outstanding interpersonal and writing skills.
• High energy and motivation to thrive in a team environment.
• Good standing with the Texas State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in mediation, arbitration, and trial is a plus.
