A growing law firm in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an experienced and passionate Family Law Attorney to represent clients through complex and emotionally charged legal matters. This role involves handling all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, domestic violence, property division, and related litigation. Location:

Duties:
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and court orders
Represent clients in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Manage division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce cases
Develop legal strategies tailored to clients' specific needs and case circumstances
Provide legal counsel and advocacy in child custody, alimony, domestic violence, and CPS-related cases
Work closely with paralegals and legal staff to ensure timely case progression
Handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail and strong client relationships
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in family law, including real estate/marital property issues
Strong litigation skills with an interest in taking cases to trial or securing strategic settlements
Comfortable managing a large docket with diverse personalities and complex legal issues
Ability to represent clients in CPS matters and emotionally charged custody disputes
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills under high-stress conditions
Demonstrated ability to advocate for either parent in custody matters with objectivity
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Undergraduate degree in a related field
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
Interest in or intention to pursue board certification in Family Law
Skills:
In-depth understanding of Texas family law statutes and procedures
Strong courtroom presence and public speaking skills
High emotional intelligence and client sensitivity
Excellent legal research, writing, and case management skills
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to delegate and collaborate
