Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on financial restructuring and special situations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and court filings related to restructuring transactions.
• Assist in negotiations with stakeholders, creditors, and other parties involved in restructuring processes.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on bankruptcy, insolvency, and distressed asset transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on client matters, ensuring compliance with legal standards and objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar; additional jurisdictions preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, focusing on financial restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Proven track record in managing complex legal cases and transactions within a law firm.
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws, creditor rights, and financial restructuring strategies.

Certifications:

• Certification in bankruptcy law or related field (preferred but not required).
