Duties

  • Meet with clients to strategize and create tailored estate plans and trust documents.
  • Help parents develop comprehensive guardianship plans for minor children.
  • Draft, review, and finalize wills, trusts, and incapacity documents.
  • Assist in the administration of trusts.
  • Present educational workshops and webinars to the community.
  • Attend local networking events.
  • Oversee signing meetings.
  • Supervise and delegate work to Paralegals.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop and modify processes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in estate planning.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts; New Hampshire is a plus.
  • Experience designing and drafting comprehensive estate plans.
  • Experience with asset protection planning.
  • Experience with trust and estate administration is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; HubSpot is a plus.
  • Experience with software-based estate planning platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Compassionate and client-focused with strong communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

  • Experience in estate planning and asset protection.
