Job Overview
A law firm seeks a transactional associate with at least three years of experience or a senior counsel with at least eight years of experience to join the investment management team of their Business Law Group in one of their office locations, including Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa, Tucson, and Washington D.C.

Duties

• Handle a variety of investment management matters, including regulatory compliance and formation.
• Represent institutional investors and manage private fund formation.
• Conduct transactions in the investment management space and general corporate work.
• Collaborate effectively with both lawyers and non-lawyers.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience for associates; eight years for senior counsel.
• Experience in investment adviser, investment company, and broker-dealer matters.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative ability.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.
