A law firm seeks a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney in North Charleston, SC. This role involves managing personal injury cases from intake through pre-suit resolution, developing case strategies, and negotiating settlements. The attorney will work closely with trial attorneys to transition cases into litigation when necessary.

Duties

• Conduct initial assessments of liability, causation, and damages.
• Develop case strategies and direct case managers in evidence collection.
• Oversee client treatment progress and ensure accurate medical documentation.
• Draft demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
• Evaluate cases for litigation potential and prepare files for trial team handoff.
• Supervise and coach case managers and support staff.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case status.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active South Carolina Bar membership.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury matters.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with South Carolina personal injury law.
• Excellent client communication skills.
• Ability to manage a substantial docket of active matters.
• Experience supervising case managers and support staff.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active South Carolina Bar membership.
