Duties:

• Manage an active litigation docket from inception through resolution

• Conduct thorough legal research related to transportation regulations and standards

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and related legal documents

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Negotiate settlements with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes

• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas

• Provide detailed case evaluations and develop proactive strategies for client reporting

• Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory issues within the transportation and logistics sectors

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution

• Active license to practice law in the state of California

• Minimum 5-7 years of general casualty litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to serve as first or second chair in trials

• Previous experience handling transportation, trucking, or logistics matters preferred

• Exposure to e-commerce and gig economy-related legal issues is an advantage, though not mandatory

• Proven deposition and motion practice experience

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California Bar Admission
