A consumer law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Class Action Attorney to join its team. Location:

• Westlake Village, CA

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on complex issues.
• Draft and brief discovery, dispositive, pre-trial, post-trial motions, and appeals.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Develop outlines for deposition and trial examinations.
• Manage trial preparation and second-chair examinations.
• Gain increasing responsibility in case strategy, arguments, depositions, and trials.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of legal experience.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Excellent oral communication and advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated work ethic and passion for justice.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Experience in mass tort, class action, and/or personal injury law preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in California preferred.
