Job Overview: A leading legal recruitment firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney on behalf of a respected full-service law firm in San Diego, California. This role provides the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. Ideal for attorneys with a minimum of two years of litigation experience, this position offers full case management responsibilities under the supervision of senior partners and includes exposure to high-stakes litigation in personal injury, construction, liability defense, and more.

Duties:

• Manage a wide range of civil litigation cases from evaluation to trial, covering discovery, depositions, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and explore growth opportunities within the firm.
• Participate actively in depositions, mediations, and trials as opportunities arise.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably within California.
• Strong familiarity with California procedural and substantive law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License in good standing.
