Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to develop case strategies and advise clients.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witnesses.
• Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files using legal case management software.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Experience in criminal law, family law, or personal injury.
• Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures and litigation practice.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
• Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
