A prominent law firm is currently seeking a dynamic IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding intellectual property litigation team in Redwood Shores, CA. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to engage in high-profile IP disputes on a regional, national, and international scale. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in patent litigation and a passion for contributing to impactful legal work.

Duties:

• Manage complex IP litigation matters, including patent disputes.
• Assist in developing case strategies and handling all phases of litigation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare and file motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court appearances as needed.
• Work directly with clients to provide legal advice and build client relationships.
• Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues in the field of intellectual property law.
• Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and efforts.
• Participate in a collaborative team environment to support the firm’s ongoing success in IP litigation.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in patent litigation.
• Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters.
• Exceptional analytical and legal writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Outstanding client service skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research tools and litigation management software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and apply legal knowledge in practical settings.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment while managing individual tasks.
• Experience with patent law and IP litigation procedures is highly preferred.
