Duties

• Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Travel may be required.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in general liability; experience in other practice areas is a plus.
• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice in NY and NJ; other states are a plus but not required.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage and work in a team environment.
• Must respond promptly to email and phone inquiries.
• Excellent client skills and telephone manner.

Education

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the states of NY and NJ.
