A reputable law firm located in Mount Clemens, MI is looking for a skilled Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Attorney to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings
• Assist in the discovery process by preparing and responding to written discovery, managing depositions, and analyzing documents
• Represent clients in court when necessary and conduct hearings
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Perform in-depth legal research to support cases
• Manage and summarize depositions
• Communicate complex legal information clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external contacts
• Work independently and as part of a team, balancing multiple tasks and priorities
• Adhere to all legal standards and ethical practices

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active license to practice law in Michigan, or pending results from recent Michigan Bar examination
• Proven ability to communicate legal information in a clear and persuasive manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in No-Fault and Negligence litigation is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and case management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active Michigan Bar License (preferred)
• Pending Michigan Bar results (acceptable if within the last 6 months)
