Job Overview

A prominent national law firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel or Senior Counsel to join its Litigation Team. This position focuses on e-discovery and litigation support across complex defense matters, offering a strategic opportunity for lawyers with a strong background in document review systems and litigation workflow design.

Duties

• Contribute strategically to a defense litigation team

• Support litigation through discovery, case analysis, and witness preparation

• Manage all aspects of electronic discovery and document production

• Design and implement review workflows including privilege log and redaction processes

• Utilize advanced e-discovery tools, including predictive coding and analytics

• Draft and revise witness kits, summaries, and deposition materials

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on trial preparation and client communication

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with:

  • E-discovery platforms and tools

  • Predictive coding and document analytics

  • Privilege and redaction workflows

  • Drafting litigation support documents (e.g., summaries, interview kits)

• Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary legal teams

• Excellent legal writing and communication skills

• Active license to practice law in Texas

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing

Skills

• Expertise in managing large-scale litigation document reviews

• Familiarity with litigation databases and automated redaction tools

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communicator and team collaborator

• Analytical and strategic thinking in high-pressure legal settings
