Duties

• Advise business clients on employment law matters, including compliance, policy development, and regulatory issues
• Conduct research, draft briefs, and prepare pleadings on employment-related cases
• Investigate workplace complaints and prepare charge responses
• Draft and revise company policies, providing guidance on complaint handling and regulatory compliance
• Engage in direct client advising, offering strategic support and recommendations
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality client service

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in employment law, covering both advisory and litigation roles
• Proficiency in legal research, brief writing, and preparation of pleadings and policy documents
• Strong client service orientation with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California
