Duties:

• Handle full-cycle litigation of family law cases, including custody, visitation, support, restraining orders, dissolution, and paternity actions

• Draft, revise, and analyze pleadings, declarations, and motions

• Conduct in-depth legal research and apply findings to advance client matters

• Represent clients in mediations, depositions, court hearings, and trials

• Maintain accurate tracking of billable hours and ensure compliance with firm procedures

• Provide insightful legal counsel to clients with empathy, professionalism, and clarity

• Collaborate with legal teams on strategy development for complex or high-conflict cases

• Engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including clients, attorneys, and legal support staff

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California

• Direct experience in family law litigation

• Demonstrated proficiency in courtroom advocacy and case management

• Strong interpersonal communication and client engagement skills

• Comfortable managing a substantial caseload with minimal supervision

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all dealings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Skills:

• Superior written and oral advocacy

• High emotional intelligence when dealing with sensitive family law matters

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
