Privacy & Cyber security Associate
The candidate will represent clients in high-stakes investigations brought by the FTC as well as state Attorneys General and Congress. Provide clients with practical advice on how to collect, use, and share data and comply with complex global privacy laws. Devise thoughtful and effective business and legal responses to security breaches. Help clients create, enhance, and audit privacy and cybersecurity policies and programs; and develop and implement global compliance programs. Should have 3-5 years of experience. Experience with technology industries, FTC or state AG policy and enforcement regarding privacy and data security issues, and counseling on privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and other new state privacy laws, is preferred. CIPP certification is a plus. Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
