Attorneys will be responsible for drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, taking depositions, attending court hearings, and managing client communications. Location:

• Livonia, MI

Duties:

• Draft pleadings and other legal documents

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend court hearings and assist in trial preparation

• Report to clients on case developments and status

• Manage various legal tasks to support the advancement of litigated cases

Requirements:

• Member of the Michigan Bar Association (Required)

• 0 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation (Preferred)

• Strong analytical and legal research skills (Required)

• Excellent writing skills (Required)

• Experience in taking and defending depositions (Preferred)

• Courtroom experience (Preferred)

• Ability to commute to Livonia, MI (Required)

• Ability to relocate to Livonia, MI before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member of the Michigan Bar Association (Required)

Skills:

• Insurance defense litigation (No-Fault, bodily injury, breach of contract)

• Legal research and writing

• Deposition skills (taking and defending)
