Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Employment Law Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to represent employees in litigation against employers, handling a variety of employment law matters from start to finish. Duties:

• Represent clients in employment law matters, including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and more.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions, and attend mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and fellow attorneys to ensure effective case management and preparation.
• Provide clients with guidance on employment-related legal issues and case developments.
• Prepare and file court motions and pleadings.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and next steps.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in employment law litigation.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, including both state and federal statutes.
• Proven ability to handle litigation from beginning to end.
• Experience in law and motion practice, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
