Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its dynamic team. This position offers the chance to engage in a diverse array of insurance coverage matters, including disputes related to CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, and first-party property cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation and analytical skills and will be given opportunities to engage directly with clients and participate in significant legal processes, such as arguing motions, conducting depositions, and participating in trials.

Duties:

• Provide expert coverage opinions on various insurance policies.

• Handle litigation in insurance coverage disputes across a wide variety of case types, including general liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation, among others.

• Conduct research, draft legal documents, and offer detailed analysis of insurance law matters.

• Represent clients in motion hearings, depositions, and trials.

• Collaborate with a team of professionals within the Insurance Practice Group to provide high-level legal solutions.

• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain detailed records of case activities and documentation to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law.

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

• Strong litigation experience with a focus on insurance coverage cases.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar license.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex insurance coverage issues.

• Superior legal research and writing abilities.

• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
