The role involves managing cases from initial client consultations through negotiations, depositions, hearings, and trials. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients through all phases of personal injury cases, including consultations, case preparation, and trial representation.
• Conduct comprehensive case reviews, including the analysis of medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
• Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure fair and just compensation for clients.
• Manage depositions, including the preparation of witnesses and handling of the discovery process.
• Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients at hearings and trials, presenting evidence and legal arguments effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and legal guidance throughout the case process.
• Oversee client intake, develop case strategies, and customize legal approaches based on individual client needs.
• Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to strengthen case arguments.
• Ensure case files are accurately maintained and updated, meeting deadlines and legal requirements.
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, supporting team development and achieving client success.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, or North Dakota.
• Personal injury law experience or related litigation experience preferred.
• Ability to reliably commute to the office and travel locally to meet with clients as needed.
• Previous experience in a professional office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, including comfort with phone consultations and client interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
• High level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, or North Dakota.
