Duties

• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Draft correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research.
• Manage all aspects of pretrial to trial.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
• Provide appeals and trial support.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 4-6+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
