Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Partner based in Houston, TX. This position is ideal for a senior-level litigator with a portable book of business or the ability to develop one, offering the opportunity to lead complex litigation matters with the support of firm resources and remote flexibility.

Duties

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters from pre-suit through trial.
• Handle breach of contract, business torts, partnership disputes, and other business-related claims.
• Supervise case strategy, filings, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Originate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with other partners and attorneys across the firm as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in Texas and in good standing.
• 8+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Existing client base or referral network preferred.
• Courtroom, deposition, and trial experience required.
• Proven leadership, communication, and client service skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
