A well-established law firm is actively seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 4 to 7 years of experience to join its litigation team in either Detroit, Michigan. This role involves representing corporate clients in a range of complex business disputes, including contract and tort litigation, with meaningful trial and courtroom opportunities. Location:

• Detroit, MI

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial and business litigation matters

• Handle contract disputes, business torts, and supply chain litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Manage discovery, including taking and defending depositions

• Participate in pretrial and post-trial motion practice

• Develop litigation strategies and assist with trial preparation

• Serve as second chair during trial proceedings

• Work directly with partners and clients on case strategy and execution

Requirements:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Proven experience in managing discovery and motion practice

• Meaningful courtroom or trial experience strongly preferred

• Strong ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Admission to the Michigan Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license and good standing with the Michigan State Bar
