Transactional Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Middletown is seeking a Transactional Associate Attorney with 4 years of experience. The candidate will provide legal counsel and support on transactional matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Conduct due diligence and research on legal issues related to transactions.
• Assist with negotiations and closings of transactions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on transactional matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Middletown or eligibility for admission.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and transactional processes.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in Middletown or eligibility for admission.
