Associate Attorney Employment amp Labor

Profile

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated litigation associate attorney to join our Employment & Labor practice group. The position would likely start Fall 2022 or early 2023, so we are looking for 2022 graduate who has taken the SC Bar in July 2022 or a recent graduate with law firm or clerkship experience at the trial court or appellate court level (Federal or State) and licensed to practice in South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have an interest in complex insurance defense litigation, including handling research, briefing, motions, and discovery, and knowledge of both Federal and State Rules of civil procedure, as well as practice areas such as Employment & Labor, Commercial Litigation, Premises Liability, etc. Candidate must have strong communication, research, and writing skills, and excellent work ethic and organization.

Hiring Criteria

0-2 years of litigation or similar practice or clerkship experience preferred

Admitted to practice in South Carolina or awaiting results of the July 2022 South Carolina Bar

Strong communication, research, and writing skills
