Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Estero, FL, to join their team and provide exceptional legal services in Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Guardianship Litigation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the managing partner to support the litigation practice.

Duties

• Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and estate planning documents.
• Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategies and legal approaches.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Prior courtroom experience is preferred.
• Experience in Wills, Trusts, Estates, and/or Guardianship is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to The Florida Bar.
