Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Associate Attorney to join its Global Finance Group in New York. This position is ideal for an individual with at least three years of experience in asset-backed securitizations and structured finance transactions, including CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, and esoteric assets. The role involves a mix of drafting and negotiating offering and transaction documents for a variety of stakeholders in both public and private asset-backed securities offerings and structured lending transactions.

Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate offering and transaction documents for underwriters, initial purchasers, issuers, and lenders.
• Handle both public and private offerings of asset-backed securities.
• Manage private structured lending transactions.
• Work with various types of asset classes, including CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, and esoteric assets.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience with asset-backed securitizations and structured finance deals.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with public and private offerings of asset-backed securities and structured lending.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle complex financial transactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar, or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal aspects of securitization and structured finance.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders in a high-paced environment.
