A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Rancho Cucamonga, CA office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for assisting with case work-up, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and law and motion work under the direction of a supervising attorney. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research, analytical, communication, and writing skills, along with great attention to detail and case management abilities.

Duties:

• Assist in case work-up under the direction of a supervising attorney.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings.
• Handle law and motion work, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files and deadlines with great attention to detail.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategy and development.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience.
• Excellent research, analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Strong case management skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
