Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Probate Litigation team in San Antonio, TX. This role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on litigation experience in complex matters such as will contests, trust disputes, and estate administration.

Duties

• Assist senior attorneys with probate litigation matters
• Manage and organize case files
• Attend court hearings and assist with trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Review estate planning, trust, and probate documents
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Assist with overall case strategy and litigation support

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in probate litigation, estate administration, or civil litigation preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Licensed with the State Bar of Texas
